Microenvironment & Metastasis
We are looking for highly motivated and outstanding Master’s students to join our laboratory for their Master’s Thesis (TFM) and contribute to cutting-edge projects at the interface of cancer biology, extracellular vesicles and nanomedicine. Our research focuses on two major areas: understanding how exosomes and other extracellular vesicles shape the tumour microenvironment and metastatic niche, and developing nanoparticle-based therapeutic strategies to modulate tumour progression and anti-tumour immune responses. Students will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art experimental models and technologies, combining molecular and cellular biology, extracellular vesicle biology, advanced in vivo models and innovative therapeutic approaches. We are particularly interested in ambitious, curious and proactive candidates who want to become deeply involved in a real research project and are considering pursuing a PhD and a future career in biomedical research.
