DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER

Cardiovascular diseases remain the major cause of death in the developed word. Mitochondrial physiology biogenesis are deeply involved in the initiation progression of the disease, through reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, energy deficiency decrease in mitochondrial respirasome formation, as initial steps in the formation of the plaques. This project aims better understand the involvement of mitochondria in cardiomyopathies using different models of mitochondrial diseases that curses with increase ROS production.
