REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

       Master’s degree in any related field (molecular biology, biochemistry, virology, immunology, biomedicine, genetics…).

       Fluent English (oral + written). Spanish not mandatory.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an innovative high-risk, high-reward funded project. The goal is to develop a novel RNA strategy that targets Tau to revert Alzheimer’s disease (which could also be applied to other diseases). The position requires extensive RNA manipulation. If successful, high impact publications and patents are expected as well as extension of funding. Possibility of PhD thesis. Appropriate direction and training will be provided to promote the candidate’s professional career.

The project is a collaboration between the University of Seville (Spain), the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), and the University of California, San Diego (USA).
