Evolutionary Dynamics of Antibiotic Resistance

Antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections are arguably one of the major threats to human health. Our laboratory seeks to understand the ecological and evolutionary processes that drive the emergence and spread of antibiotic-resistant clones.

We offer a TFM position for a motivated student who is willing to develop new therapeutic approaches combining CRISPR/Cas9 systems and fecal microbiota transplantation to combat antimicrobial resistance.
