Hereditary Endocrine Cancer Group

The Hereditary Endocrine Cancer Group at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) focuses its efforts on identifying genetic susceptibility factors, as well as on the discovery of prognostic and predictive markers for various tumor types. In this context, the student will carry out a project focused on defining markers associated with differences to anticancer drug response in renal cell carcinoma using large series of patients characterized by next-generation sequencing technologies.

The student will acquire knowledge in molecular techniques, genomics/bioinformatics, cell culture and genomic databases, as well as in the presentation of the results. The student will participate in the training activities of the group and the research center.
