Cyanobacterial biotechnology (Dpt. Biology UAM)

Toxic cyanobacteria blooming in lakes and reservoirs pose a problem of public health. Among the options to remove the cells and the toxins, in this TFM we focus on the use of hydrogen peroxide. In this context, the topic of the TFM will be Hydrogen peroxide treatment for toxic cyanobacteria: effects on cell physiology and toxin concentration (In Spanish Tratamiento de cianobacterias con peróxido de hidrógeno: efectos sobre la fisiología celular y la concentración de cianotoxinas).
