Molecular Oncology Unit at CIEMAT

The student will be integrated into our research project which aim is to search for bladder cancer biomarkers in liquid biopsy samples (blood and urine). To do this, it will use samples from genetically modified animal models and samples from bladder cancer patients. This project will allow the student learning molecular biology techniques such as qPCR to make quantitative determinations of mRNA and western blot for protein determinations, among others.
