PREDOCTORAL POSITION IN NEURO-EPIGENETICS

In our lab, we focus on identifying the molecular mechanisms that control stem cell differentiation toward specific neural lieages. We aim to decipher transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms that regulate neural cell fates and how they are altered in neural diseases, particularly in intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder. Our main models are neural stem cells and the neural tube. The candidate will implement a wide-range of techniques to obtain a comprehensive genome wide and local transcriptomic and epigenomic information; from conventional Western-blot and qPCR to next generation sequencing and animal models.
