BONE PATHOPHYSIOLOGY AND BIOMATERIALS

Mesenchymal stem cells promote tissue repair and regeneration through modulation of immune response. We offer a TFM position to work on the paracrine crosstalk between mesenchymal stem cells and macrophages, key mediators of wound healing. The student will evaluate in cell culture the influence of different inflammatory conditions on MSC activation and immunomodulation using natural biomaterials.
