INTERNATIONAL MENTOR PROGRAM IMP – Medicine
The International Mentor Program IMP is an initiative of the International Mentoring Foundation for the Advancement of the Higher Education (IMFAHE) and some other Spanish Universities. The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) will participate during the academic year 2017/18 in the IMP-Medicine program as a result of the agreement signed with the IMFAHE. Ten students of the Faculty of Medicine of the UAM of last degree Courses and official Master's degrees will receive personal advice, throughout videoconferences in Spanish and / or English, from scientists and professionals from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Standford University and the Harvard University.
The students will be approached by mentors about scientific lastest advances abroad, with the aim of helping them to make decisions about their professional career, and succeed in their jump to the labor market.
