Crystallography and Protein Engineering Unit

The student will have the opportunity to be involved in one of projects that are developed in the Unit, which will give him/her the chance to develop his knowledge in techniques of:

- Molecular Biology (cloning and expression of proteins)
- Biochemistry (purification of proteins)
- Biophysical characterization of the samples (thermofluor)
- Protein Crystallization (using high-throughput screening robots)
- X-ray data collection (protein crystallography)

- Structure-based drug-discovery

- SAXS
