DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER

We are applying the latest CRISPR-Cas tools to generate new animal models of human rare diseases, particularly albinism, a rare genetic condition associated with mutations in at least 20 different loci. Some of the new types of albinism do not have animal models to work with and the CRISPR-Cas technology will allow precise preparation of animal counterparts of mutations found among people with albinism.
