Stress Kinases (SAPK) are involved in numerous cellular processes, and it is thought that could become potential therapeutic targets for diseases such as cancer, obesity or diabetes. Despite all this, their role in metabolism and the development of cancer is known. The student will study the role of p38 kinases in these proceses using mice lacking this kinases.
