Lineages and neural heterogeneity

Our main goal is to track in vivo the origin and fate of individual progenitor cells in developing mouse brain. Recently, we have generated  Star Track, a novel method to trace the clonal fate of neural populations from embryonic and postnatal progenitors. We are using this method to trace the clonal fate of the different neural cell populations. Since the  pattern of clonal cell dispersion is different depending on the time of electroporation and survival we propose to analize the clonal cell dispersion  at different embryonic and postnatal  ages.
