Research line: Control of inflammation in cardiovascular diseases
Summary: Inflammation and autoimmune abnormalities play an important role in the progression of heart failure and vascular diseases. Understanding peripheral mechanisms operating in autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases is critical for the design and development of novel therapies. Our group seeks to identify new regulatory cells and miRNAs involved in the control of these diseases.
